Travel - getting to and from Marbella is easy the clostest airport is Malaga which is only around 30 minutes driving from Marbella town. Malaga is linked directly to most European countries; England, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Ireland and Eastern Europe etc Furthermore most flights are only 2 to 4 hours eachway

Beaches: Marbella has some fabulous beaches. The best of them are around Elviria, El Rosario, Puerto banus and Cabopino. Also just a short drive away are the picturesque beaches of Tarrifa 'surfers paradise'

International: Marbella is very international and although it is pretty small (170.000 inhabitants) there are many different cultures living, working and being educated here in Marbella; including some of the best international schools available.

The climate: Marbella is located on the Costa del Sol and there is a reasona why this coast is called like that. Over 300 days of sunshine per year on average. Next to that Marbella has a micro climate withi this area so that makes it better than the rest of the Costa del Sol.

Excellent daytrips: From Marbella you have many choices for a daytrip or weekend trip. Within two hours driving the choice is overwhelming, you could visit Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Malaga, Jerez and Cadiz. But you can also take the ferry in Algeciras or Tarifa (less than an hour drive) to Morrocco (only half an hour to Tangiers) and live a completely diffrent experience.

Golf: there are many worldclass golf courses in Marbella. Some say too many but I leave that judgement up to you. Aloha Golf, las Brisas golf, Rio Real Golf, Santa Clara Golf, Santa Maria Golf, Los Naranjos Golf, La Quinta Golf and Marbella golf and country club.

Sports and leisure: Marbella has many tennis clubs (Puente Romano tennis club, Don Carlos tennis Club, El Casco tennis club and Manolo Santa Raquet club are the best known), Padel Clubs, Football clubs and gyms. Next to that the summerseason is excellent to enjoy watersports like waterskiing, sailing, surfing and swimming.
